JOIN US for the bloodiest musical around, coming to Queensland for the first time!
Five college students go to an abandoned cabin in the woods, and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons.
Based on the cult classic horror franchise, this rock musical is equal parts horror, spoof and classic musical, in one of the craziest, funniest and bloodiest theatrical experiences of all time. Featuring numbers such as ‘Cabin in the Woods’, ‘What the Fuck Was That’ and ‘All the Men in My Life Keep Getting Killed by Candarian Demons’, you know this show will be a bloody good time! And speaking of blood… this is only show that boasts a designated splash zone.
Following the success of ‘The Exorcist’, director Yasmin Elahi is excited to tackle something more lighthearted, but equally as gruesome. We are looking for strong singers, dancers and actors who are not afraid to get messy, have a great time and embrace their inner demon.

ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

Ash (mid 20s)
A housewares employee who turns into a chainsaw-wielding hero. Male presenting.
Vocal range B2-B4.
Scott (mid 20s)
Ash’s crude best friend. He’s an asshole, but the kind of asshole you love. Male presenting.
Vocal range bottom: C3-Bb4.
Linda (early 20s)
Ash’s perfect girlfriend who loses her head by the end of the Act One. Female presenting.
Vocal range: G3-E5
Cheryl (early 20s)
Ash’s dorky sister who turns into a brash, foul-mouthed demon. Female presenting. Gymnastic abilities a plus.
Vocal range G3-Ab5.
Shelly (early 20s)
A ditzy airhead, who Scott met in a bar and has brought along for a weekend of ‘fun’. Female presenting
Vocal range: Ab3-C6
Jake (mid 40s)
A guy who they meet in the woods. A reliable tradesman who helps wherever he can. Male presenting.
Vocal range: G2-B4.
Annie (early 20s)
Daughter of the archaeologist who owns the cabin. Has a bad track record with dating and losing her clothes. Female presenting.
Must be comfortable with a tear-away, revealing costume.
Vocal range: Ab3-C6
Ed (mid 20s)
Annie’s boyfriend who can’t get a word in, also plays the Moose. Male presenting.
Vocal range bottom: A2-G#4
AUDITION INFORMATION
We will email you your allocated timeslot, as well as audition materials. Please learn all the material for your character. You will also be required to attend a group dance call.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE - Wednesday evenings, Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons from October 2024 - January 2025 (with break for Christmas). Rehearsals will take place at EvilCorp Horror Maze and Woolloongabba Substation. Performances will take place at EvilCorp Horror Maze.
